Summer Exhibit: “Framed: Step into Art”

Step inside the framework of famous paintings and experience art like never before in “Framed: Step into Art,” opening at ImaginOn: The Joe and Joan Martin Center on May 20 through Sept. 3. Children and adults can enjoy a robust noontime meal in Grant Wood’s “Dinner for Threshers,” climb into a tent and explore camping gear in John Singer Sargent’s “Camp at Lake O’Hara,” add corn husks to the flower tower in Diego Rivera’s “Corn Festival” and enter Clementine Hunter’s “Big Chicken” to get behind the reins of a giant rooster.

On June 28, 2016, we had special visitors pop by! As part of their effort to expand community service and give back, several team members of the Charlotte Knights visited ImaginOn's Spangler Library to help school aged children with arts and crafts.
